M. Sébastien Descarpentries
Partner in Auriga Partners since 1999, Sébastien Descarpentries is responsible for analyzing business models and development plans of potential investments. He also handles the financial monitoring of companies within the Auriga Partners portfolio and Investor relations. Before joining Auriga, Sébastien worked for 5 years, including 2 in England, in the financial division of an industrial group, where his responsibilities included analyzing proposed acquisitions. Sébastien is a graduate of the French management school, the Institut Supérieur de Gestion where he studied Financial Management and Advanced Accounting, awarded by the DECF, the French institute of certified public accountants.

Jacques joined Auriga Partners in 2006 as a Partner. He is responsible for investments in life sciences, covering biotechnologies, medical devices and healthcare services. He serves as board member in several of our portfolio companies both in France and abroad.
Before joining Auriga, Jacques was VP at the Monitor Group, a strategy consulting firm, based successively in their New York and Paris office. During that spell, he conducted a wide variety of engagements for the major players of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industry. Prior, Jacques was Senior Director Portfolio and Project Management within HMR/Aventis based in Bridgewater (NJ/USA). He started his career in 1989 at Andersen Consulting (ex Accenture).
Jacques has a Medical degree from Université Paris V and holds a Bachelor of Science from the American University in Paris.
M. Franck Lescure
Partner, Franck joined Auriga Partners in April 2004. As a specialist in Life Sciences, he has been responsible for a number of investments in companies such as Cytoo, Erytech, Médian, TcLand and Txcell, where he sits on the Board of Directors and/or the Supervisory Board.
In 2003, Franck joined the Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity (CAPE) department, after 6 years as the Manager of the "Medical Oxygen" development plan at Air Liquide. He began his career in 1990 in Genset, initially in Paris and then in San Diego, working on therapeutic applications of oligonucleotides and the development of a new-generation DNA synthesizer.
Franck is an alumnus of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and has a PhD in Molecular Virology. He is also a graduate of the Institut Pasteur and has an MBA from CDI, the French post-graduate Engineering school.
M. Philippe Peltier
Philippe has been a Partner at Auriga Partners since 1999. Philippe has been an early stage investor in numerous successful healthcare companies including Alantos Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Amgen), Innate Pharma (EuroNext Paris: IPH), Spine Next (acquired by Abbott), Targacept (Nasdaq: TRGT), Tigenix (EuroNext : TIG).
He currently serves on the board of directors of several portfolio companies including, Novagali Pharma (France) and Genocea Biosciences (Etats-Unis). Prior to joining Auriga Partners, Philippe was an equity analyst with HSBC-CCF Securities, covering biotech and biopharma public stocks. He holds a MS in Molecular Biology from the University of Paris VII and a MS in finance from ESSEC (Paris).

M. Bernard Daugeras
Co-founder Chairman of the Board of Auriga Partners, Bernard is an expert in Life Sciences and was behind successful investments such as BioAlliance Pharma (EuroNext : BIO), NicOx (EuroNext : COX). He is a member of the French Academy of Technologies.
Bernard began his career doing research into particle physics at the University of Orsay, the University of California at Berkeley, and CNRS, the French national scientific research center. He subsequently held senior posts at the French Ministry of Industry and Research, where he was in charge of promoting technology transfer from research institutions and of optimizing relations between Research and Industry. After 4 years in the Crédit Lyonnais setting up the bank's Venture Capital arm, he joined Finovelec in 1990. Bernard is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and has a PhD from the University of Orsay.
M. Jacques Chatain
Co-founder and General Partner of Auriga Partners, in charge of Investor Relations and Public Relations, Jacques has been responsible for a number of successful investments, including Aquarelle, E’Brands (sold to the Vivendi group), Time to Buy (bought by Netbooster), Toobo (sold to Liberty Surf) and Web’city (bought by Groupe Carrefour).
He sits on the Board of Streamcore.
From 1986 to 1998, Jacques was an investor and Company Secretary of Finovelec, after holding several jobs in finance and administration in the same company from 1975 to 1986.
Jacques is a graduate of the Business School of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
M. Patrick Bamas
Co-founder and General Partner of Auriga Partners, Patrick is an expert in Information Technology, Scientific Instrumentation and Industrial Processes. Before managing investments in Information Technologies for Auriga Partners, Patrick handled investments in companies such as Instruments SA (bought by Horiba), Apsilog (bought by Peregrine, and then by Hewlett Packard) and Riber (EuroNext : RIB).
Patrick held a senior position in Finovelec from 1986 and 1998, after working in the High Tech department of the IDI group from 1983 to 1986. He started his career as an IT and Strategy consultant.
Patrick is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité and the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises de Paris.

M. Philippe Granger
Philippe is a Partner at Auriga Partners since 1999. He has been instrumental in a number of business ventures across the software, Internet and semiconductor sectors. He currently serves on the board of several companies in France, the USA and Switzerland: BonitaSoft, EVE, Innovative Silicon Inc., Neolane, Nexthink, Stantum…
Prior to his work at Auriga Partners, Philippe was a professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA) in Paris where he headed the Computer Science department. He also worked as an IT researcher specializing in software and hardware verification at Carnegie Mellon University, the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris.
Philippe holds a doctorate in Computer Science from the Ecole Polytechnique, Paris.
M. François Lainée
François is a Partner with Auriga Partners, which he joined mid 2002. He has been instrumental in a number of investments in the areas of software, EDA, components, network infrastructure and service. He currently serves as a non Executive Director on the board of several companies including Ekinops, Oxand, Open Plug or Convertigo.
Prior to joining Auriga, François has been a consultant with McKinsey in France and in the US, a product line and marketing manager with Thomson Broadcast, and a research engineer at Thomson central laboratory and Ecole des mines materials research laboratory.
François is an alumni from Ecole Normale Superieure, has an aggregation and PhD in physics, and is also an engineer from Corps des Mines.
M. Rodolphe Lilamand
Rodolphe joined Auriga Partners in February 2007 as Investment Manager. He specializes in investments in information technology. He has been involved in business ventures across the software and electronic sectors. He is currently invited to the board of Previsite, Stantum and BonitaSoft.Previously he was a consultant with Nodal Consultants for 3 years where he conducted over 20 missions as strategy and marketing consultant for innovative projects. He started his career at Accenture as Management and information system analyst. Rodolphe graduated from the Ecole Centrale Paris and from the ESCP-EAP (master Degree in Marketing).

Nicolas is the Partner in charge of new projects at Auriga Partners since 2010. His responsibilities include developing and managing new activities, notably funds managed on behalf of retail financial institutions. He currently chairs the board of Streamcore.
Prior to his work at Auriga Partners, Nicolas was a Partner with Convergent Capital, an early stage Venture Fund; he was also a corporate venture investor in the Silicon Valley, where he invested in North American technology start-ups and was involved in several significant exits. He has held operational management roles in marketing at Nortel in France and in the US and started his career as a Consultant for Bossard Gemini Consulting.
Nicolas graduated from Telecom ParisTech and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
